Australian propaganda created by the Australian Government itself and was to subordinate to the state and federal governments to maintain enthusiasm for the recruiting of soldiers in one of the few countries that have voluntary enlistment throughout the war
Australian propaganda gained a lot of influence from the British, mostly because the British colonized Australia and were also involved in the war as being the allies of Britain.
Australian Propaganda is really persuasive mostly because the government and the war officials lie about the number of people that are dying in war. They do not mention the number of casualties that occur throughout the war. This is a reason why Australian propaganda is really persuasive.
They also exaggerate what might happen if the Germany wins the war as shown on the bottom left image on the home page.
When the war first started men from all over Australia started to enlist for war mostly because of the extreme enthusiasm and patriotism towards the British.
After the landings at Gallipoli and after many of the Australian families started to realize that their father, sons, brothers and/or friends might never return home safely, the public attitude of war turned immediately opposite which reflected in weaker recruitment.
